The goal is to identify and treat children in Prince Georges and neighboring counties who do not have dental insurance, are underinsured and/or have not received dental care. The objective is to eliminate health disparities by

• Increasing access to quality oral health care
• Increasing the number of providers in the dental safety net and dental Medicaid providers
• Increasing the number of children connected to a ”dental home”
• Establishing a “Children’s’ Dental Hotline”
• Establishing school based mobile dental clinic programs
• Identifying children who are eligible, but not currently enrolled in Medicaid
• Increasing awareness about the link between oral health and overall health
